Basilisk V3 scrolling when lifting the mouse

Hello, i've had my Basilisk V3 for almost a year and a half now and i haven't had any problems until a few days ago, when it started scrolling everytime i lift the mouse or when i put it down. When using it for work or normal stuff it's not a big deal, but when using it on fps titles and such i tend to lift it very frequently and it always cycles trough weapons making it a terrible experience. Any ideas on what may be causing this ?
