blackshark v2 pros not enabling 7.1 surround sound?

I got the v2 pros about a month ago and ive been playing around with the eq settings and alot of other stuff to fit my needs, I started to notice when i was watching movies and other things like anime that the sound was extremely flat, i took my old hyperx cloud 2s that have the 7.1 surround sound button on the jack plugin tutuapp listened to the same thing with 7.1 on and off and i noticed that when its off it sounds exactly like my v2 pros does, but when i turn it on it sounds totally different than my v2 pros, is there a like an extra step i have to do to get 7.1 SS turned on for my v2 pros?
