Razer deathadder essential laser pointer not working

I have had this mouse over a year not and worked great. I haven't used my machine in a like a month and now the Razer deathadder essential laser pointer is not working. If I boot up it will works for a little then stop. I have uninstalled reinstalled Synapse. Synapse does see the mouse and I can change the button functions. I can click and right click without issue. The laser just stops working randomly. Any Ideas?
