Kraken Headphones Mic not working

Hi, so I decided to order myself some headphones earlier in the year due to there being a sale on the Hong Kong Razer store, during the time that I had it, I didn't use the mic at all since I had a mic already so I didn't really need to use it, I recently tried to use it but the option for the mic didn't show up in the audio panel. I wonder if anyone else has had this problem and knows how to fix it. By the way, I have read up on some other fourms and I can't seem to find anybody with the same problem, I'm using the normal headphone plug which doesn't require 2 headphone jacks. A short list for people who don't want to read the whole text:
  • Bought the headphones this year
  • Haven't used my mic at all
  • Didn't take it out of its hole until now
  • The mic is not muted
  • Not using the two way plug
Here is a picture of what the audio recording panel looks like. I do have a warranty so it is okay if there aren't any solutions but I would still like to try my best to fix these!

Hi there! You mentioned that the headset uses the headphone jack. It won't actually show up in the audio panel as it uses an analog connection and it will use your audio input drivers instead. As for the mic not working, let's try to troubleshoot. Does your computer have the combo jack? Have you tried using it with other devices that have the 3.5mm jack (like a smartphone or tablet) to see if the mic works? Let me know.

Hi! thanks for your reply, so basically, I tried the mic on my One Plus 5t and it worked but it didn't work on another computer (hp pavilion). My computer is the Dell XPS 13 and it doesn't have the combo jack.

Thanks for the reply. The mic should be alright since it was working when you tested it with a phone. In that case, it might be with the connection to your computer. Please try to use the splitter included and see if the issue persists. Let me know how it goes.
