RAZER BLACKSHARK V2 audio cut out

I have this head set, "RAZER BLACKSHARK V2 - WIRED GAMING HEADSET + USB SOUND CARD" and the audio in the left ear cup keeps cutting out. I just want to know if I can fix it or if I should get a new one. Thank you all.

    I have the same problem. Seems to be a short. Two funny things. No one posted any replies to this in over a year. And the headset decided to crap out after the extended warranty expired.
