BLACKSHARK V2 X headset item serial number is unknown error

Hello there! I bought a new Blackshark headset two days ago and was excited to download the 7.1 surround sound feature, but I was quickly disappointed to find out I can’t register the serial on the Razer website. Upon searching the web, I discovered I was one of many experiencing this error. It was hard to believe I bought an illegitimate headset because I got it from the most reputable video game store in my country. Anybody help?
