Razer Basilisk V3 Pro Lighting serious bug

YoanVds

Hello all,

I purchased the Basilisk v3 Pro and the dock separately like a month ago.
All worked fine, since today.

The mouse was charging on the dock, and only the center logo rgb was on. I let it be since I was not on my computer.

When I turned on my computer again, the RGB lighting stuck with only the logo RGB working!
I tried turning off and on my PC, my mouse, tried another PC with Synapse on it, tried BT, installed the latest firmware (1.0.1.0 if I remember) but STILL NO LIGHTING ON THE OTHER LEDs!

I have not spent more than a thousand euros in Razer HW for Synapse to bug this way now!

Help me fix that please!

+, Synapse started to bug since I bought this new mouse. Every time my PC turn on, or when I play a big game, such as CoD, Synapse bugs and I’m forced to kill the process and reopen the app.

I had the Ultimate before, maybe I have to uninstall the driver?

Synapse seems also to be having problems with the lot of HW I have (Hunstman, Tartarus V2, FireFly 2, Gigantus, Kraken V3 pro...) and I often have to kill the processes to open them back up again, because the lighting or the bindings don’t work. Help please again...

Hey,

First I’d try doing clean Synapse reinstall (with removing all Razer drivers, which might help):

  1. Uninstall Synapse
  2. Download & run this tool: https://rzr.to/Tf53xj to remove any razer drivers/leftovers
  3. Then restart your PC
  4. After reboot install Synapse again (as administrator).

Hello! I’ve seen your answer on a related question, tried, and that didn’t seem to help…
It seems like the microfirmware or something software-ish is bugged inside the mouse itself, that does not anymore change the scroll type with the button: it is registered, but I have to turn off and back on to change physically.

Hello,
The mouse is going to be RMA’d, seems like it is defective (I had guessed, with all my attempts :/)
No problem, let’s have a new one, I’m very satisfied with it since the v1
