Hi, 1st post here and I am more of an occasional gamer than totally into it right now. I've had my new controller for 2 days. I'm very disappointed with it so far, so I am wondering if I am doing something wrong, so seeking help from all you expert folks. Any hints gratefully received. 2 issues: Firstly, it has not been possible to register the product on the Razer website as the site will not accept the product number. Have other folks experienced this? Second, I see the controller has 4 extra buttons on it, M1 thru M4. What benefit are these exactly? I had assumed they could be assigned to additional things but according to the manual they cannot. They can only be assigned to repeat things that the other buttons on the controller already do. So what's the point of them? Thanks in advance for any insight you can give!

    Hey there! Thanks for dropping your concern to our support board. Congrats to your newly purchased controller! Let me answer your second question first. Your M1/M2 is your multi-function bumpers while M3/M4 is the multi-function triggers that you can remap or customized by downloading Razer Synapse for Xbox for your gaming console. Please refer to our Razer Wolverine TE's manual by clicking this link. On your first question, we need to check what the correct product number. Please send me a PM together with your device serial number so I can check it on my end.

    Hi - thanks for your reply. As above, I am using this on a PC, I downloaded the app, but it will only let me map M1, M2, M3 and M4 to buttons which are already on the controller. In other words, they simply duplicate what is already there. For example, I can map the trigger to the M1 and M2 buttons. But why would I need or want to do that when I already have 2 triggers? As an example, I want to be able to map F1, F2, F3 and F4 on my keyboard to M1, M2, M3 and M4 on the controller but the app doesn't let me do that. I had expected to be able to map additional functionality to these buttons but it seems that's not possible, all I can do is double up the controller buttons, just like the default setting which maps M1, 2, 3 & 4 to X, Y, A and B.

    I am encountering the same issue with my newly purchased controller. Like the poster above, I am a PC gamer, and bought this controller believing the buttons could be bound to keys on my keyboard. I was also disappointed to see that sensitivities for the left and right joystick are also not customizable in the xbox synapse app. This makes the agile function not work in games like Overwatch where holding down the agile button doesn't make the camera rotate faster. I assumed this function was like a "DPI switch" for controllers but only the focus option works. Are you aware of any way to 1, program the keys to non-redundant buttons, or 2, customize the dead zones and sensitivities of the joysticks to allow the agile setting to work?

    Thanks for sharing your concern here. The button assignment in Razer Synapse for Xbox can allow you to reassign existing button only in your controller for your convenience and faster navigation. For the sensitivity, please go to Focus and Agile section of your Razer Synapse for Xbox to decrease and increase the level of sensitivity. Please use the D-Pad to navigate and modify sensitivity. Focus and Agile can be mapped to any of the multi-function buttons. I've sent you a PM @Pistachioalleyclassic768, let's continue there.
