My Razer Deathadder Essential mouse has a faulty scroll wheel. I just found out about the fault recently, but days ago it was working. The problem with my scroll click is that if I press it too lightly it does not respond. However, it will respond when I press the wheel harder. Days ago, I didn’t need to apply much pressure at all to the wheel. And I didn’t abuse my mouse as well. I’ve looked inside the scroll wheel, and I’ve seen some dust within. My desktop gets quite dusty, so I think the problem is the dust and a simple can of air will do. The question is, does this indicate there is a more serious issue, or is it just a simple dust problem?
