Help with 7.1 surround sound not working

Recently, I’ve wanted to try and use the Razer 7.1 surround sound that I got with my Razer Kraken X Lite again, and I’ve come across a few bugs. When I first got my headset, the feature worked great, and that was around a year ago, but I stopped using the feature quite quickly. When I try to use the feature, I’m pretty sure it doesn’t change how audio sounds because when I switch it on and off, I hear no difference, and I cannot change my volume. I can even have it show as muted and have volume playing.
