PC is a WIN 11 all uptodate on updates and the Headset is also uptodate on the firmware.
Basically wish to enable surround sound in the 7.1 Surround Sound App.
The toggle button to do this is greyed out and the [select a device] dropdown is showing an orange warning triangle saying that the 7.1 surround sound has to be set as the default playback device.
Checking in the windows settings there is no option for surround 7.1.
Looking through the mysupport there is a solution https://mysupport.razer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5899/kw/7.1 found here.
BUT here comes the rub, the solution in step 8 and 9 says search for Razer and select install legacy driver.
Great except for the fact that option of Razer is no longer there. It goes Realtek then Thrustmaster. No Razer.
So effectively am stuffed. Would any kind contributor or razor themselves care to comment. provide guidance or a solution
