Razer Blade 14 (2023) w/ Chroma x Issues

I recently bought the Razer blade 14 (2023) and having issues using it with the chroma x external gpu running (rtx 3070). Chroma x was fine with my 2017 razer blade 13.5 (intel) witch of course supports thunderbolt 3 tech. I know the new razer doesn’t support that tech but they made it “compatible” . think it might be a power draw issue where the razer laptop isn’t getting enough power? which might be the reason for why sometimes the external core doesn’t connect , or disconnects randomly , or bluetooth stops working properly or laptop doesnt shutdown properly….. yea. Would anyone know if either 1. i can update my chroma x power supply, or a cable to accommodate for this issue or 2. if its ok to have the chroma x plugged in while also using the laptops main power supply (so both connected at the same time?) I would rather just have 1 power source. any help would help
