Razer argb controller not found by synapse

Did you follow the steps here in setting up the RGB controller? You can proceed with these steps so the Synapse app can detect your device. Should the problem persists, let me know through PM and provide the serial number so I can verify its model and check for other options to help you address the problem. Thanks!

Try Razer clean reinstall if you haven’t tried it yet:

1. Uninstall Synapse
2. Download & run this tool: https://rzr.to/Tf53xj to remove any razer drivers/leftovers
3. Then restart your PC
4. After reboot install Synapse again (as administrator).

I did this and synapse still doesnt detect the argb controller or  the Tomahawk case I built, if there’s another way I’d like to know 😊😁

I would love to know as well.  When I look in device manager there are no drivers for Razer.  I did the uninstill, the cleanup of the drivers, the reinstall and nothing.  Still no drivers thus no detection. 

This is ridiculous!  I think its time to go back to my coolermaster, at least that worked right off the bat.  Seems Razer is just not ready for prime time and isnt spending enough time developing a good way to install their software and have it detect its own products. 

If there was a way to manually install the inf files so windows would see the usb drivers and then easily detect by fan and rgb controller, that would at least be some comfort
