I have a problem with smart scrolling. When using it, the laptop begins to emit signals 5-6-9 times depending on the intensity of scrolling, while at this moment the mouse and the entire desktop freezes. How to fix it?

Hello.

I think I know how to fix your problem. Go to Synapse → Mouse → Scroll acceleration and turn that off. This function isn’t good with the smart reel. Now I’m very happy with my reel and the smart reel function after I turned that off.

Best regards,

Crownii

What for a pollingrate do you use? I have a weak computer and with a pollingrate of 4000 i have idle on desktop non stop 95% CPU load. Maybe your laptop is overloaded by the mouse too? Try to use smart reel with scroll acceleration function again with a pollingrate of 1000hz. If you have still this problem, you can try it with 500hz.

I have Asus Tuf F17 with cpu i7-10600h. So no problems with CPU load. I tried it at different polling frequencies - the problem is repeated everywhere if you don’t turn it off completely.
