Razer Synapse Update 20231110 changed my sounds and mic

Both of my Nari Ultimates sound like shit now, since 1) settings were reset and 2) changing anything doesn’t work. Equalizer, enhancements (haptic, bass boost), stereo/spatial switch does nothing.

Tried completely removing and installing current Synapse and resetting the headsets via Synapse, didn’t help.

Current update also acts erratically, sometimes “loosing” other devices for a few seconds and lagging with profile changes.

+1 Terrible new version and they’ve also changed the mic equalizer, it used to have a range of +/- 12 dB and now its +/- 5 meaning you can’t adjust it to be decent anymore

This update reset my Equalizer in the Synapse app, too.. Was a bit of a shock listening to the change in real time.

The THX spatial synapse has disappeared from my playback devices  list after the update today. 

Is there anything that can be done to fix this issue.

In case you’re wondering what they did. They took out the surround sound module and hardware locked it to only certain headsets. Then they took out the THX spatial audio fine controls and put it behind a paywall (I verified that it makes a difference with the trial). I’m asking for an activation code to the 7.1 surround module because it sounds way better than THX. No answer since Nov 18th
