Freezing Video/GIF

When watching a video or playing a gif on either Brave browser, Chrome browser, or Facebook app my Razer 2 phone freezes after a few seconds and I have to soft reset my phone. This issue only started up recently and I haven't installed any new apps in between the time of my phone not having these issues. Looked it up online and it seems like many others are having the same issue, mostly saw people blaming the Chrome app. I did try using safe mode and I didn't have any issues there on the Chrome app and since I was in safe mode I couldn't check the other apps obviously. The Youtube, Prime Video, and Netflix app are working fine. While it is frozen the screen dims after a while and then brightens up again. At one point after soft resetting the phone froze when starting up.

    We are already looking into this. For now, please use Cortex Mobile to limit the framerate of the affected apps to 60 FPS. This should improve your experience. I will update you as soon as the fix is released.
