Razer phone 1 camera app wont start after update to android 9

Do you get the same results when using 3rd party applications? In any case, please send me a PM with the serial number of your RP1 along with the IMEI and a screenshot of the error message.

Same here. Updated to 9.0 and noticed the issue. Did a full factory reset, and the problem persists. Error prompt is simply: Camera keeps stopping App info Close app Camera works in all other apps, Instagram, Messenger, Signal, etc. It is only the stock Razer Camera app which appears to be broken by the update.

I did a full factory reset to clear the problem, sorry to hear that didn't work for you. Its weird though that the camera works in all other apps, so the problem is probably the android camera app. If the reset didn't work, I would have switched to debugging it on my phone with a USB cable. Luckily it didn't come to that for me.

Now Chrome keeps crashing too. Will work for a little while, then may scroll through a page or something, and it will crash. Super disappointed with the 9.0 update. This is really frustrating and making my phone less and less functional.

Whoa, just realized all of these crashing issues only occur when Do Not Disturb is on.....
