Hi!

I recently purchased a Leviathan V2 Pro and I’m not sure whether i need to do something specific to get the spatial audio to work.

I have installed synapse and the THX Spatial-app. When starting the spatial app it’s querying me for an activation code. And I’m pretty sure that didn’t get one of those in the package since there basically was nothing in there except for the speaker and a very tiny guide on how to connect the speaker.

So I tried the trial option just to get up and running and figured that i can possibly solve the activation code issue later. I followed the instructions and set THX Spatial as my output device in windows 11 and chose the leviathan v2 pro in the spatial audio app. When pressing TEST STEREO or TEST THX SPATIAL AUDIO i hear nothing though.

Am i doing this right? I found an actual manual online but the only mention of thx spatial in the manual said:

ACTIVATE THX® SPATIAL AUDIO* Unleash the full potential of the Razer Leviathan V2 by enabling 360° positional audio for a natural and lifelike experience through Razer Synapse.

So with no manual and almost no info online I’m humbly asking for help. How do i get virtual surround to work with the leviathan v2 pro?

I’m in the EXACT same boat, there was a spot on the website to request a code, but I’d states these speakers are eligible. I think it’s ridiculous that headphones get a free code but we spend $250+ and no free code and have to spend another $20 to have this option when it should be included

There are 2 output devices: THX Spatial, and Razer Leviathon V2 Pro.  The THX has no sound so switch the primary speaker to the Leviathon V2 Pro.

This is confusing buy I think I found the solution to this, basically the  THX® SPATIAL AUDIO paid app is a generic add on for all of their Razer headset within Razer Synape, so uninstall it if you have it installed. This soundbar is really just a 7.1 surround sound system, no real height channel. So when it is connected via USB it shows a speaker setting as 7.1, audio quality is maxed out at DVD quality. But when it is connected via Bluetooth, it stereo, but the spatial audio setting in windows open up and allow you to change to different spatial audio setting either Dolby Acess, windows sonic or DTS:X. I changed mine to DTS:X and use the DTS sound unbound to test my surround sound, it does indeed work, height channel worked better than using Dolby Atmos but I can’t expect miracle out of a tiny soundbar at this price.

Summary:

if you want 7.1 surround sound, use USB connection, audio output quality is higher.

If you want spatial audio, connect it to your pc via bluetooth and use either dolby atmos, dts sound unbound or windows Sonic, the THX Spatial Audio might also work. But with both method you need to change to sound setting to 3D virtual surround headphone.

If you really want uncompromising sound, a full home theater or a high end sound bar is really the only solution
