Razer Ripsaw HD glitching

I have been streaming with my Nintendo Switch as of recently with no issues at all for a few weeks. Nothing has changed since then with my setup or settings. But just yesterday I noticed an awful issue that I can’t seem to fix. My gameplay will randomly glitch out with strange colors and tearing over the screen. I have no idea what may have caused this. It is all updated. I do not need to drop it to 720p because my cpu and pc overall is absolutely powerful enough. It shouldn’t need to be lowered. I also checked all the cables. Swapped them out and replaced them with no difference at all. All cables in use are the ones included with the card. Even checked to see if it was my monitor or something. But no luck. Any help at all would be seriously appreciated. I really need this to work

I think that the Razer Ripsaw HD just couldn’t handle some games at 1080p, so you need to downscale it to 720p for it to record normally

It’s a bit of a bummer obviously since we bought this to capture gameplay at 1080p :/, I’m just starting streaming/YouTubing as a hobby yesterday but it’s probably a good idea for me to start saving up for an Elgato capture card if I want to take this more seriously 😂.

Is the glitching consistent with the games that you’re playing BTW?

For me personally is CONSISTENTLY glitch when I play Persona 4 Arena Ultimax in my PS4 at 1080p and need to downscale it to 720p for it record comfortably

 

But for other games as like Persona 3 Reload, I could comfortably record it at 1080p for 5 hour straight without encountering this glitch effect (except for some part of the opening song of the game for some reason, there’s this particular section in the game’s opening song in which the Ripsaw glitched CONSISTENTLY)

But that’s the only problem on recording Persona 3 Reload with the Ripsaw at 1080, here’s my Twitch VOD that I recorded yesterday in which I played the game for 2 hours straight without encountering any graphical glitches
