Naga V2 PRO side panel buttons 1 2 3 not responding at all

Hello, 

I have recently buy the Razer naga V2 PRO (1week ago), and almost all is fine that a great mice, but my side buttons 1 2 3 doesn’t work. on 6 an 12 buttons panel.

Do somebody have the same issue?

it’s connected via dongle (try bluetooth and wire), i have all up to date (windows raze synapse and frimeware) tested on multiple softwares, clean it as recommended by razer etc. 

try remapping the butons and nothing work.

i have contact razer support and open a ticket and waiting there answer but i wish to know if somebody also have this issue or it’s just bad luck and will it be cover by warranty?

I’d clean the pins on mouse with 100% IPA (also check if they’re not bent or something).

yeah already done IPA, and pins look all ok but i have shitty eyes, will look closer. thanks for your answer


I have the exact same issue on my Naga Pro v1. Did support ever give you an answer?

Check connection issue as well as clean pins.
While the most of the people had to hard push side panel to make it connect, mine has very strong magnets connection so i had to put small wire in magnet area on side panel to loose it. Yes there is some backlash between side panel and mice but buttons work now


Hi I have the same issue random buttons stop working sometimes one sometimes 2 then everything goes back to normal then again they stop working. I think its a software issue. Currently button number 2 is not working at all. This is really frustrating and annoying never buying a razer product again. unacceptable I cant play anythign

Oldish thread, but for anyone finding themselves here - it seems to be a three part problem:

  1. Razer Synapse is and always will be a bulky, buggy mess. 
  2. The connection pins may be dirty and need a quick wipe down
  3. Or, because the sideplates are held in place by magnets, there is some very fine slop to them, allowing the plates to slip back and forward just enough at times to result in a disconnect. 

I believe that the combination of these three factors results in instances where the wrong sideplate is registered, buttons stop working, or other unexpected behavior occurs. 
I have had all three issues individually, or in various combinations. 

If the magnets didn’t have that slop, and the plate was more secure, I believe the other two issues would be mitigated for the most part. But unfortunately, I don’t see this being addressed. 

I LOVE the charging dock solution that no other brand seems to want to provide, and the mouse grip is second-to-none - but good golly, these interchangeable sideplates aren’t all they were hyped up to be.

Hello,

 

Had the same issue with Naga v2 Pro. Brand new out of the box everything working perfectly, after 2 days side panel keys 4, 7 and 10 stoped working. Cleaned the connectores and the issue is gone, working fine now.
