Razer Deathadder V3 wired suddenly stopped working

Timbertooth

My wired razer deathadder v3 suddenly stopped working. I was playing a game when the mouse stopped working, so it worked fine before

I tried several steps to fix the problem but nothing helps. Also the razer software doesn’t recognize the mouse anymore.

When i go with my finger over the sensor i see the DPI flashing but nothing else happens.

Anyone has a fix for this?

Edit next day: started working again after first boot of the day, but loses connection to the PC everytime i pick the mouse up. the moment the mouse makes contact with the mousemat again it starts working again. Really annoying.. I tried reinstalling drivers, razer software, connecting to other pc etc, nothing helps.

Damaged cable? Try to wig the cable around, until you hear disconnect/connect sound in windows (maybe it’s damaged). Despite this - I’d just RMA the mouse.

Hi @Timbertooth,

If the same problem persists, please PM me the serial number so I can verify its model and check our options for a replacement. Thanks!
