(Razer Kraken: TE) USB output not working on PS4

I bought the mentioned headset today, at first when I plugged the headset into my PS4 there was audio. I thought it was quiet so I plugged it into my PC to max out the volume there and then plug it back in. However when I plugged it back into my PS4 there is no sound coming from the headset anymore. Contacted Razer support and they said it only works when the 3.5mm wire is plugged directly into the PS4 controller (which isn’t true because I had audio coming through before I plugged it into my PC) I can’t use the headset plugged into my controller because I use a 3rd party translation device to be able to use mouse and keyboard for personal preference, and when using this device, the 3.5mm port is disabled on controllers. Please don’t reply just to tell me that it can only be used when plugged into the controller because I know this isn’t true and I believe this is issue is related to software being automatically downloaded to my headset when it was plugged into my PC.

Without the 3rd party translation device, does the headset work properly? The USB audio controller should still work on PS4. But the functionality will be limited as the headset is set to stereo only when plugged into consoles.
