Viper V2 Pro Battery stuck at 0%

So I just wanted to share my experience w the mouse being stuck at zero percent and how I fixed it. Ive been using this mouse exclusively with the Razer Hyperpolling Wireless Dongle 4k polling rate for a long time. The issue would be the mouse would be at 0% when wired but be fully charged at the same time when viewing from the home screen of synapse but upon viewing mouse performance cutomize tabs ect it would say 0%. And would not connect to the 4k dongle wirelessly or sometimes would if left plugged in then plug in later. For my experience I worsened it by updating the 4k dongle from version 1.0 to the latest version when I saw there was an update available. Resulting in my mouse not connecting at wirelessly following that update. Now how I fixed this, was not by using restore point on windows bc it still keeps the firmware updates on your mouse and dongle regardless of restore point date, so I fixed it by keeping the 4k dongle plugged in then unpairing it from V2 Pro. Afterwards I plugged back in the original dongle I recieved with purchase of V2. When I plugged that in my mouse immediately connected wirelessly to that dongle while with the 4k dongle it would be delayed and not connect after updating. After regaining use wirelessly I plugged back in the 4k dongle paired again with Viper V2 Pro I was having issues now was back to normal after repairing it. Also to note I didnt realize the 4k dongle was the reason my windows would stop working as normally a bunch of times because of the dongle not connecting properly to my mouse causing windows errors. Hope this helps you gl

For me I realized when connected in (Wired) mode with the mouse powered off it would display the battery as 0% in the software. It wasn’t till I actually powered on the mouse that it would start displaying the amount of battery I have left.

Hadn’t used my Razer Viper V2 for a while and forgot I had powered it off. But apparently the mouse still functions (Wired) although powered off.

It wasn’t till I powered on the mouse to use it wirelessly that I noticed that the battery % would show up properly.
