I was scared when I per accident deleted the disk with my windows partition on for linux. There are loads of horror stories where the recovery USB you could download doesn’t work. It worked like a charm, I updated all drivers, windows etc. All seemed ok until I played a game.
Seems there is a big battery drain when using the dGPU even when connected to battery. First symptom was with synapse 3 that it said my laptop was not getting enough power. Even when using the OEM 330w brick. I upgraded to synapse beta and the error went away. The battery drain stayed.
So I googled more and oh boy is this a common occurrence. Would hope we can solve this as smooth as the restore.
