Basilisk V3 Scroll Toggle Button Does Not Work

Hi everyone and Razer Team,

 

I have bought my mouse, Basilisk V3, about 6 months ago. Everything was fine until a few days ago. The scroll toggle button started malfunctioning slowly, by sometimes not switching the scroll mode. As of yesterday, it’s fully gone. The button does not work.

 

I tried debugging switching scroll modes by setting other mouse buttons as the control for the scroll modes, and it works. Then I set another function for the scroll toggle button such as double click, right click etc. and it does not work. The mouse did not fall or is not damaged. I don’t remember anything specific before the button went broken.

 

Did anyone have the same problem and is there a solution?

I don’t know how, but it got fixed by itself. Sometimes you have to press harder to toggle the scroll lock. Try pressing hard and if it does not work, try restarting your synapse app etc or try your mouse in another computer and check if it works if it’s connected to another pc.
