I have my mouse for only 2 months and suddenly the scroll wheel wont work. Everything else in the mouse works such as the clicks, the side buttons, as well as the scroll wheel click. But the main problem is that it won't scroll up or down. Im not sure if this is a hardware issue. For context i also needed to reset my laptop and this issue happened after the reset.
+1Most probably encoder failed.
You can try to “clean” it with compressed air, but most probably it won’t help.
RMA is the best way.
