Razer Viper mini Signature Edition dongle stopped working after updating firmware

I updated the Signature edition dongle firmware along with the mouse. The mouse updated successfully but the dongle kept on failing to update. Now the dongle cannot be detected. My windows is up to date. I re-installed synapse and remove and reinstall razer drivers. Still the same issue.

I'm having the same symptoms. It is connected by wire, but wireless connection through dongle is not possible.

Not sure if you three solved the issue or not.

But the reason you are having issues with the dongle not showing up in synapse is because the firmware on the dongle is not up to date. When I updated my viper signature edition to the newest firmware my dongle stopped working (this is because the new mouse firmware is only compatible with the new dongle firmware).

Follow these steps and you will solve your issue:

  1. Go to this link https://mysupport.razer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/9682
    1. If you dont have signature edition just search up your mouse name and firmware at the end
  2. Download the firmware and with the dongle plugged into the computer use a different mouse (the firmware of your dongle and mouse are different so you cant use it to update) and select the update that requires the dongle and the mouse (left option).
  3. After you select that update it will tell you that your dongle has a required update and select update.
  4. After update is finished your mouse and dongle will be paired again :)))

If you this wasn’t easy to follow add my discord: assassins0000 and I would be happy to help
