I need some help here, bought a second hand Deathadder Essential off Amazon (warehouse) and I suspect that it's fake (replaced by previous buyer) but am hesitating to return it.
What is (very) off with this mouse:
- Font on bottom sticker is different than that of other Deathadders. Some bold Arial instead of Razer's usual font.
- Serial number isn't recognized on Razer's page
- RZ01-03850 (model name) is an existing model, though pictures of it show correct Razer font and white glide feet
What's legit about it:
- Autorun driver installer once plugged in (=presence of onboard memory)
Is this a fake? A semi-fake with legit parts? Is there any other way to check its authenticity?
