Razer mouse (Abyssus V2) has stopped working. I have had this mouse for years with no issue.
This is a wired mouse with lighting. The lighting is still working and cycling. However no input or movement is picked up. Then checked my device manager, Abyssus V2 is no longer there. Seems its not being recognised.
I googled a few solutions but nothing worked including:
Reboot
Different USB slot
Removed synapse entirely even though its been working fine for years
Downgraded to synapse 2.0 (on compatibility list) to no avail
I now notice in device manager RzVirt_01 under “Other devices” and when trying to update that driver, windows cannot find a driver for the device.
I am lost at what to do. Really like my mouse, it’s clearly working as the light is on, happened randomly. Surely I can get my PC to recognise my mouse again?
