Two days ago synapse started an update automatically (my first mistake, never again).
Sometime after, i noticed my lighting was no longer synced, and also random from component to component. I went to my taskbar to select a profile again, assuming it has reloaded into some kind of default. Which is when i noticed i no longer has Synapse.
Used Razer Central to re-install (the only option, synapse appeared to no longer exist)
After that, when i opened Synapse it showed no devices, studio was gone, and when selecting any of the tabs or even options the software locked up for about 20 seconds each time.
Attempted an uninstall, which opens the razer tool. Selected synapse and all of its modules. Ran the uninstaller until it told me it was complete, and then it asks me if i want to uninstall anything else. I said yes, and noticed that Synapse was still listed, but not its modules. But if i open Synapse it still lists modules inside (after waiting a few times over for the delay to get that far)
I Can’t actually access anything, such a Studio, since then i have attempted multiple series of reboots/uninstalls/end tasks/exit all apps with no progress.
After an unhelpful live chat service, i went all out on my own. Ended tasks in task manager, deleted folders, ran registry cleaners, deleted more folders, rebooted, ran registry cleaners, deleted the remaining folders, ran registry cleaners, rebooted, ran registry cleaners over and over until no evidence of any razer software remained. I even removed all other aRGB software i had for other brands of devices that i had working together to control any an all lighting just to remove any traces.
I then did a fresh download and install of Synapse. Which fails every single time regardless of the number of reboots and scans.
??
Question
Synapse updated itself out of existence, now nothing works
