Razer Huntsman V3 Pro Key Spamming on Lock Screen Log Off / Log In

This started about 2-3 weeks back.

Suddenly randomly, when the computer lock screen comes on, the last key starts spamming. It normally the space bar or the pin entered to log on into windows.

So it logs off, I enter pin and space bar is typing continuously. Sometime its the last digit of the pin code.

First I though its an hardware issue. Now I have tried this on two Huntsman v3pro, one old and one just bought 2 days back.

When I log in and its spamming the space bar, pressing any key stops it. This does not repeat until the windows is logged off again. And then repeats again.

To stop this cycle, I have to disconnect and reconnect the keyboard or exit synapse and reload synapse or restart pc.

This behavior happened not with the sep 26th synapse update but the one before that. This is completely random, and I have no idea what triggers this with synapse.

Hello there, @g.seth!

Try reinstalling your keyboard’s drivers by following the steps below:

1. Press Windows + S on your device to open the Search bar.
2. Type in “Device Manager” and hit Enter.
3. Go to "Keyboards" or "Human Interface Device".
4. Right-click on the Razer Huntsman V3 Pro and select Uninstall device.
5. Restart your computer to completely uninstall the drivers.

The drivers will automatically reinstall after your computer restarts. If that didn’t work, then update its firmware. Feel free to send me a PM along with its serial number if you need further assistance.
