Viper 8K polling rate stuck

TamerOTornado

My Viper 8K shows an 8K polling rate in Synapse, but both the Razer polling rate checker app and websites confirm it's stuck at 1000Hz. I even tried lowering the polling rate to 125Hz, but it still remains at 1000Hz.

I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled Razer Synapse, updated mouse drivers, and rebooted Windows, but nothing has worked.

I’ve been using this mouse for months on the same USB port, and it used to show polling rates above 1000Hz, even reaching 8000Hz.

same problem, it’s always 1000hz also tried 125hz

I ended up fixing the mouse by completely uninstalling synapse using revo uninstaller, then using this driver uninstaller (https://dl.razerzone.com/drivers/Synapse3/win/DriverCleanup.zip) and reinstalling synapse3

although synapse 3 did end up causing software issues with my blackshark v2 which are fixed in v4 so now I’m stuck deciding if I want a buggy mouse or a buggy headset instead
