This translates as:

My mouse stopped recognizing on my PC, but I tested it on my work PC and it recognized it right away. Does anyone know how to fix the problem?

Hi jbarozzi,

I understand that your Razer DeathAdder Chroma is not being recognized on your PC but works on another, here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

1.Try connecting the mouse to a different USB port on your PC. Sometimes, specific ports may malfunction.

2.Reboot Your PC: A simple restart can resolve many hardware recognition issues.

3.Ensure that your USB drivers are up to date. You can check this through the Device Manager:

  • Right-click on the Start button and select "Device Manager."
  • Expand the "Universal Serial Bus controllers" section.
  • Right-click on each USB device and choose "Update driver."

4.Ensure that your PC's power management settings are not preventing the USB ports from providing power to the mouse.

  • Go to Device Manager, find your USB root hubs, right-click them, select "Properties," then "Power Management," and uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power."

If you continue to experience issues, please PM me your device serial number so I can check for other workarounds. Also, let’s continue our conversation in English to avoid misunderstanding. All the best!
