My Razer Blade 15 (RZ09-0421NGD3-R3G1) suddenly stopped charging with the 230W charger plugged in. Battery went to 0% and I bought a new 230W charger. (outlet of the laptop seems fine and clean)
It charged to 36% with the new power adapter, then stopped again, battery percentage decreasing. I tried re-installing the battery drivers (device manager - uninstall & restart), but couldn’t get it to charge again.
I removed the battery and can now use my laptop with the new 230W charger (it won’t start with the old one, the green light is on). I get a “more power required” notification. I read elsewhere that simultaneously using a USB-Charger might help? Would you recommend that? I don’t mind using my blade as a stationary device since I’m not travelling much anymore, but I would like to get full power back. The laptop is a little over 2 years old and has been treated with care, I just can’t accept it’s this damaged already. Any suggestions are much appreciated.
