I have a razer core x and am having trouble getting it to detect my GPU. In the thunderbolt menu I am able to see Razer Core X as a registered and allowed device when I turn Security on but when it is off I just see the Port and no Core X behind it.
My graphics card powers on and the fans spin. The card is also confirmed and working when I put it in a PC.
For reference the card is a 2080ti and I have tried to connect both to a Dell laptop and a Razer 14” (2017). I have also tried 2x thunderbolt cables, one is the original and the other is an active thunderbolt cable I had around.
Other information, I have had this Core X for about 2 years and never got it working. First I thought the GPU I had tried was not compatible. It was an old AMD workstation something or other. Now I pulled this one over from another system to try and sort this out.
I am wondering if there is a firmware issue or some setting I should be looking at to get this working. Any ideas would help.
