### **Issue Summary**
I am experiencing issues with my **Razer Core X (PS-7701-2)** after switching GPUs. The enclosure no longer works with any GPU, and I need assistance identifying whether the problem is related to the **power supply unit (PSU)**, the **Thunderbolt 3 connection**, or the **Razer Core itself**.

---

### **Details and Steps Taken**

1. **System Specifications:**
   - **Razer Core Model**: Razer Core X with PSU PS-7701-2 (650W)
   - **GPUs Tested**:
     - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti (8-pin + 6-pin power requirement)
     - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 3050 (6-pin power requirement)

2. **Initial Behavior:**
   - The system worked perfectly with the GTX 1080 Ti installed.
   - I tested the GTX 3050, which also worked fine in the enclosure.

3. **Issue Onset:**
   - After reinstalling the GTX 1080 Ti, the system stopped functioning.
   - Since then, neither the GTX 1080 Ti nor the GTX 3050 works in the Razer Core.

4. **Current Symptoms:**
   - No power activity when the Razer Core is connected to power with or without a GPU installed.
   - GPUs do not light up or spin fans when installed in the Razer Core.
   - The Razer Core does not show signs of activity (no fan spin, no LEDs).

5. **Tests Performed:**
   - Verified correct PCIe power connections:
     - GTX 1080 Ti: 8-pin and 6-pin connected.
     - GTX 3050: 6-pin connected.
   - Swapped between the GTX 1080 Ti and GTX 3050 to test functionality.
   - Tested GPUs in another system to confirm they work.

### **Request for Assistance**
I am seeking guidance to:
1. Determine whether the PSU or another internal component of the Razer Core X is faulty.
2. Understand the expected behavior of the Razer Core X when powered on without a connected PC or GPU.
3. Resolve the issue through troubleshooting or repair.

---

### **Additional Notes**
- The system previously worked fine with both GPUs.
- The issue arose only after switching back to the GTX 1080 Ti.
