Brand New Razer Viper V3 Not Charging or Working

Hi,

 

I’ve just purchased my Razer Viper V3 Pro Mouse today. I’ve spent around 2 to 3 hours trying to get it to work but have given up after countless internet searches, firmware updates, etc, etc.

 

I plugged the USB cable direct from my PC and into the HyperPolling Dongle. The Synapse software detects the HyperPolling Dongle. It does not however detect my mouse and the mouse does not switch on or show any battery status when charging. I’ve tried to charge it for 4+ hours and still nothing. Even when unplugged, I see a red light on the inside when looking through the sensor area at the bottom. This light sometimes is solid red, then bright red after 5 seconds, then back to solid dark red. So this says to me it’s on, but the light at the top of the mouse next to the scroll wheel has never said it’s charging….

It doesn’t switch on, doesn’t detect via PC, nothing. When you charge it, are the lights at the top supposed to light up? At the moment, nothing shows up. I’ve tried charging into the wall, still no luck. I can’t even use the mouse wired with it connected via USB. It is plugged directly into the PC, not into a USB hub.

Have I missed a step here? I am exhausted and out of answers. I’ve read countless forum posts and watched so many videos.

 

How do you actually get this mouse to work? Thank you.
