Create Thread: Razer Blade 15 GTX 2080 bad performance on battery (compared to RTX2070)

Hi Forum! I recently bought a Razer 15 with RTX2080 and the gread OLED Screen. Also the cheaper version with RTX2070 and the 144Hz Display. I noticed while playing settler 7 that my girlfriend got a lot more fps. Both running 1080p on battery. So I started doing some Benchmarks: Started with following Settings: - Windows Energy plan to maximum performance - whisper mode in geforce experience off - battery boost in geforce experience off the 2 laptops have different options in razer synapse 3.0 under performance settings. For the RTX2070 model I can choose between "Balanced" "Game" and "Creator" For the RTX2080 model I just can choose "Balanced" oder "Custom" I testet with 3D Mark "Time Spy" plugged in score: RTX2080: 7150 RTX2070: 6773 on "Game Mode" an 6546 on "Balanced on battery: RTX2080: 4235 RTX2070: 5255 on "Game Mode" How is this possible? Why isn't there a "game mode" for the RTX2080 model? Has anyone experienced similar problems? I reinstalled windows, reinstalled Synapse and graphic card drivers. Nothing changed. Razer synaps 2 does not open after I installed it. But erverytime the same result at the benchmark. Hope somebody can help me solve this problem. best regards Fabian Update: I did some more testing. It seems like the problem is, that the voltage of the graphiccard will not rise when on battery and the (just around 0,6 to 0,7V) and the base clock stay under 1450Mhz. When plugged in it raises to 1850Mhz. The 2070 is at 1815Mhz when plugged in and around the same at battery. It looks like it’s not working correctly on battery. What can I do? Update 2: I did some direct comparison to better show how big the problem is. All numbers are frames in 3d Mark "Time Spy"
