I’m having batery life issues on my Razer Blade 14 - RZ09-0482. The battery life is only about 2 -2.5hrs when:
- browsing the web
- screen brightness at about 30%
- refresh at 60Hz
- Best power efficiency
- Energy saver mode
Battery only has 76 cycles and the capacity already dropped by aprox 20% (I haven’t checked the capacity before, so don’t know what it was at time of purchase).
Battery calibration has been performed, but nothing changed. Have the latest BIOS installed as well as updated all the drivers, OS and SW. Also, unable to get Optimus working with 240Hz refresh rate. The only thing I haven’t yet tried is a OS reinstall.
I’ve been searching your as well as other forums, as well as other sources, to see if I have missed anything and to try and improve the battery life, but it remains aprox. the same.
This is the third Razer system I have purchased, and the one with the worst battery life by far.
I could understand a 10, 20 even 30 percent difference between tested and actual runtimes, but not a 75%, or 66% decrease. Source:
I think this is unacceptable, as all reviews and official Razer specs quote a much longer battery life. I would appreciate a prompt reply on this matter.
