I've been using my Razer Blade 15 Studio Edition since 2020, and overall, it’s been a great laptop. But for a while now, I haven’t been able to close it properly, and today I noticed the front is actually warping downward. It’s warped enough that the bottom case has popped open, as the base has separated from a screw. I believe this is a battery issue, as the computer runs super hot, even when under little to no load.
The battery also drains super fast when it’s not plugged in, but that’s not such a big deal to me.
I’m starting to worry—will this warping or swelling mess with the internal hardware over time? I’m terrified that one day my laptop won’t turn on or something. After looking into it, it seems like this is a pretty common issue with Razer laptops.
What are my options here? Any advice?
