Razer Synapse 2.0 Doesn't stay open/Doesn't work


The problem occurred today out of the blue. Whenever I start the program it shows on the tray but when you hover over it, it disappears. Tried reinstalling, tried removing everything from the razer folder , restarting the pc a couple of times, nothing. Just sent a ticket but I don't think I will receive help anytime soon. Any idea how to fix it...I can't use the features of majority of my hardware ( Razer Deathstalker Chroma and Kraken Pro v2)

I had this issue with synapse 2 every time there was a windows update. However I solved it by doing pretty much what you have already done. I uninstalled synapse and chroma sdk components, then deleted all razer folders from programs. After that I restarted and reinstalled synapse and it would work.

Tried that but I have a solution that worked for me but it's pretty extreme, I reinstalled windows and it worked.

I have no idea what was causing the issue , I did everything that I could think of before reinstalling windows....all the device manager tricks with disable, deleting , uninstalling ...in every order possible , with more than 15 reinstall of the program itself, even going as far as checking .NET and reinstalling that, it wasn't an issue with any change that I could think of because it stopped working suddenly mid day, and it worked well previously with synapse 3.0 , which I tried uninstalling as well...tried as well stuff with the firewall, some stuff with safe mode , both in network and normal mode, same issues ....again it just stopped out of nowhere, without any changes to the pc that I could think of.

I am having the exact same issue here. Logged in for the first time ever just to reply to this thread. I have tried every single fixe you have, up to and including a fresh install of windows 10...Twice or more. To compound my problem further, I have to use Synapse 2 just to run my Orbweaver Chroma. My Blackwidow Chroma and Naga Trinity use Synapse 3. As far as I've gotten: Synapse 2 installed (but refuses to open/run) Orbweaver functionality basically gone. Synapse 3 refuses to install. Blackwidow and Naga functionality basically gone I opened a support ticket over the weekend through the live chat option and the issue was supposedly escalated. I have a case # and everything. I have replied to what seemed like an automated email saying they were still investigating the issue (as per the instructions in the email) to make sure they didn't ignore my issue after "72 hours" of no reply. I hope we can get our issue resolved soon. I'm running a lot of Razer peripherals and at the moment, none of them are serving any more than their basic purpose. @OP, Pleeeease let me know if you find a fix before they do. It's really chapping my butt over here...
