CHERRY MX ULTRA LOW PROFILE Switches

Hello,

I am searching for a new Keyboard because my old Deathstalker is on its way out.

I really loved it. And i am searching for a low profile Keyboard again.

I tested the K100 AIR and the Cherry KW X ULP because they have switches i really like.

But i had to send them back because the Corsair keyboard is squeaking like He...and the software is crashing constantly. Also the plastic ontop of the display is so soft, that you will scratch it even with a soft mictofiber cloth. Ontop the Volume wheel does not have any haptic Feedback.

Not a package i will pay 250€ for.

And the Cherry Keyborad is looking nice but it is so bady build that it already arrived with a huge bend in it. They cheaped out on the internal Aluminium plate (simply to thin). And i was not the only person with this problem.

So also a package i am not willing to pay 200€ for.

Because i was really happy with my Deathstalker i would like to ask if Razer has any plans to build a Keyboard with the Cherry MX ULTRA LOW PROFILE Switches?

They feel really great when writing. But all the available Keybords that are using these swithes do have some other mayor problems.

I would love to get a Razor Keyboard again. But i am not a fan of “standart” mechanical switches (hight).

Did this topic help you find an answer to your question?

There’s DeathStalker V2 line with low profile switches (but they’re optical: clicky Purple or linear Red switches).

I have looked at the DeathStalker V2 and the other keyboards in the lineup. But like you said it is using optical: clicky Purple or linear Red switches.

I am looking for a keyboard with MX ULTRA LOW PROFILE Switches. A keyboard that looks similar to a K100 AIR or the Cherry KW X ULP. Which both have a similar look as the DeathStalker i am using right now.

Really hope Razor does have something in the making!
