My Razer Huntsman Elite has had a consistent issue for a few years now where the "M" key chatters horribly. When its software, either Chroma or Synapse is not running, the key, if not pressed for a minute or two, will begin to "store" additional presses. Pressing it after it has stored enough will type multiple "Ms" in a single press. The longer I wait, the more it types. I often have to "discharge" the key by holding it down and allow all the "Ms" to be used up. The issue becomes significantly worse when Chroma or Synapse is running. If either software is running, no matter how long or short you wait, the instant you press the key, it will type several "Ms." Anywhere from 5-50 "Ms" will appear in a single press in this case. As long as the software is open, the key does not "discharge" and will only return to bearable levels of chatter when the software is fully exited. It is definitely not a hardware issue because if it was, running the software would not change the issue at all.
The keyboard is not in warranty and does not have RazerCare, but if you would like the serial number I can provide it. I have tried factory resetting it, blowing it with compressed air (just in the rare case that it is a hardware issue), and updating the firmware.
Aside from this main issue the keyboard has a couple other issues that I’ve seen other people post about. The wrist wrest (when attached) will lightly shock the underside of my wrist when it is placed in a specific spot (where your wrist naturally rests when your fingers are on the WASD keys). Lastly, the volume wheel is extremely inconsistent. Scrolling in any direction will make the volume just jump around the value it was already at instead of raising or lowering by a consistent amount. Each bump of the wheel can make the volume go up or down 2 to 6 seemingly at random.
