mouse recommendation
So, I'm in the market for a wireless mouse.
BTW, my hands are on the small/medium side (for a guy). They are a bit wider for their length.
Right now, I use a Corsair Katar wired mouse. It is a very short, wide, high mouse, with vertical sides, for a claw grip.
I use a fingertip grip, with my wrist resting on the mousepad. (sometimes I'll fall into a claw grip)
So I bought a Corsair Harpoon. Excellent mouse...but something is wrong ergonomically. It's narrower than my current mouse, and there is a VERY weird angle on the sides...my pinky feels pretty strained after playing.
as a side note, my current mouse is ambidextrous and feels great, and the Harpoon is right handed and "ergonomic" and is not making my fingers happy.
I've been looking at the Viper Ultimate. Will this work with a fingertip grip if my hand is around 7" long?
How does the Viper Ultimate feel ergonomically? ( know it's ambidextrous but that does always matter...my current mouse is a great example)
any other suggestions for a fast, wireless gaming mouse, for a guy with my hands and grip style?

In terms of appearance, the Mamba wireless and Basilisk Ultimate have a cool look.
But in my personal experience, Basilisk Ultimate is rather disappointed me in terms of ergonomic. My hand size may the same as you, relatively small as male. The left and right-click keys are a bit harder to activate in Basilisk Ultimate that makes a lot of late respond mistakes on the FPS game.
I am currently using Naga Trinity as my main mouse which, unfortunately, only the wire version is available. In my own opinion, that is the best mouse I ever use. the side pad was perfectly fit in varieties games, wither MMORPG/ FPS etc. Or I would simplify it as a "Jack of all trade" mouse.
If you have less demand for the mouse side pad, you may go for Viper Ultimate, which has a rather ugly appearance but much better portability and gaming performance.
I might buy viper mini as a trial as the ultimate version is too expensive. If you are interested, you may pm me and I will share my own review afterward.

To be fair, The Razer's mouse done very good work at making the cable wire to be less resistance (unlike most of the "gaming mouse"). But of course, if you need to carry your mouse in different locations (e.g. School and home place to place daily) the wire mouse will not be ideal.
However. the product design of the wireless mouse is desktop friendly. Since the newest wireless mouse's receiver (either Basilisk Ultimate or Viper Ultimate) was plugged into the charging dock, that still requires to occupy one of your laptop USB slots and makes it less portable for carrying around.
In addition, the USB receiver is much harder to plug-in into the USB slot rather than the charging dock it's provided. I had Basilisk Ultimate before but I just don't like the "ergonomic" design and the overall experience. I sold that out to my friend and Naga Trinity still my favorite.
**Need to mention that I am using laptop as my only gaming device.
I'm gonna be quite honest, despite the fact that you desire a wireless mice, I've had the deathadder 2013 ever since 2015? I'm pretty sure, it's lasted me a long time and the only real issue I'm having with it is that the side grips come off which I feel like is a negative to any razer product with mice and the fact that the deathadder I have is only suitable to razer synapse 2.0. However, if there were a razer deathadder wireless mice I would get that. Furthermore, I would suggest the Razer Mamba mice as it has a simple look and seems good to use based on some reviews.
