Blackwidow Lighting switching to spectrum cycling

I have a razer blackwidow. the chroma lighting on the keyboard switches to spectrum cycling everytime synapse is not running. How do i store my lighting profiles onto the keyboard and not be stuck with spectrum cycling without synapse?
