Razer Deathadder Chroma - Invalid Product Serial Number

I have tried several times to register my new Deathadder Chroma to Synapse so I can adjust DPI and Color. The mouse is not recognized on Synapse 2 or 3 and I just want to be able to adjust settings on it. I've read multiple posts with the same problem but I found no real answers. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!
