Laptop unable to switch audio devices

Hi, I recently had to reinstall windows due to a BSOD... After the reinstall the speakers worked normally, I plugged in headphones and listened to some classes - up to this point everything is working as expected (except i couldn't change audio devices (from headphones to speakers) which i thought was a bit weird), then after classes when i plugged out my headphones speakers didn't work. The only way I would get audio from my laptop was plugging my headphones in. Happens every time I turn on my laptop (1st speakers work, but if I plug in my headphones they won't work anymore). I have the 2018 base model ( i7-8750H, GTX 1060,16GB, 60hz) and this didn't happen before the BSOD/windows reinstall... Any advice? I tried to mess around with drivers but no changes :/

Were you able to uninstall your audio drivers and restart your PC? For now, please ensure that you have the latest Windows version by following this guide. I'd appreciate it if you'd send me the serial number of your laptop along with a screenshot of your MSINFO32. I can use those to take a closer look at your system and check if there's a specific fix for this. *Thread locked to curb the conversation to PMs.
