2018 razer blade 15 webcam driver

I have never been able to get my webcam to work with windows. It does work with linux. I think I just need the driver, but it does not appear to be listed with the other drivers.

I have the same issue, this seems to be a common problem with these models. I've tried every possible scenario, except replacing the hardware. Even reverted to my first razer blade windows image, which I backed up just in case. I don't think it is a software, drivers, bios update issue. I believe the webcam wires touching over the cooling chamber has broken the connection which may be due to the heat. Anyway, I've recently raised a support ticket for it. Hoping to know the cost of getting it fixed.

Where can I download the driver for Webcam for my Razer Blade 15 Advanced 2018? Windows 10 X64. If I am not mistaken on a cable its mentioned as C1_FPC_Camera PVT VP 2.0 20180305 12368156. Doesn't look like you are providing it on support site. I did have changed SSD to a new one. In Device Manager I see webcam as "Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)". Device instance path "USB\\VID_0000&PID_0002\\5&2F63674C&0&7" Port_#0007.Hub_#0001 Error inside driver: " Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43) A request for the USB device descriptor failed. " Does anyone knows where can I download driver for it? Please help!!!!

Same problem here.. only had this machine three days. Unbelievable that this issue seems to have been cropping up on the forum for at least 2 years and still no resolution. If I'd known I wouldn't have bought the darned thing.

Same problem here, it stoped working, and exactly same errors: Device instance path "USB\\VID_0000&PID_0002\\5&2F63674C&0&7" Port_#0007.Hub_#0001 Error inside driver: " Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43) A request for the USB device descriptor failed.
