Raiju ultimate new batch with firmware 1.04 update

Its been a week since razer told me they we send me a new controller. After i recieved it i 'll test it and let you know!

I can't even get them to send me a new controller. I was told there isn't a guarantee of which version I would get if I ordered on from their online store. WHY ARE YOU STILL SELLING A DEFECTIVE MODEL OF THE PRODUCT KNOWLINGLY?

I spoke to razer via chat and asked for a controller from the new batch. they told me all the controllers have 1.04 because the old batch was sold out!

I received the 1.04 version two days ago. But the problem still remains. Wireless has had a delay, and when wired, the right stick pulls freely. I wonder if the day will come when this expensive controller will be properly patched.

Those who got 1.04 what country are you in? I got a 1.01 unit from Amazon and it drifts like mad but support at Razer told me I might get a 1.02 unit if I order direct from them. Be good to hear if any UK folk are getting 1.04's

Update: Just went ahead and ordered here in the UK and the order said the following: item ordered Razer Raiju Ultimate EU NEW And from what I read all units shipped in the EU are the newer model, often direct from manufacturing.

That's True. I can confirm that all units ordered directly from razer will have 1.04 or newer installed. Razer live support chat told me. I'm from the netherlands btw.

Razer life told me they can't guarantee anything. Just got my shipping notification. Coming direct from the factory.

Ive been testing the new controller v4 since last friday. On wired connection its works perfect! No delay, no stick drift nothing. Bluetooth mode doesn't work at all. Since im playin wired only im not complaining and they wel probably fix it in the future with a update. My controller was send from Hongkong to EU (NL)

1.04 or newer? They released already a new firmware?

Numerous sources say how 3rd party controllers will have higher lag when wireless as Sony don't give them access to a lower latency version of the protocol. So official controllers will "always" be lower latency when wireless.

In the beginning my controller worked perfect! After a playing multiple hours with the new controller on 1.04 some issues came up. - Input --> Happens 1 times a day for 1 or 2 seconds. It happens often in the beginning of the game session (playing wired) - Bluetooth --> Doesnt work wel. Buttons not responding, major input lag if the button do react. (This is not a problem for me since i play wired but still. For a controller worth of 200,- this is not okay! And also i dont have any other bluetooth or 2.4ghz nearby what could interrupt with the controller. Its the controller itself or the software) I contacted the support and told them my problems and they immediately offered me a new controller. In mine opinion this is weird because this is the newest batch and it should work perfectly. I looks like the new batch is also not 100% working and they already know this. Because the wired mode works perfectly (on the input lag what occurs 1 time a day) im not returning it. Im gonna wait until more people have tested the new controller(1.04) and see what they experience.

My replacement that came with 1.04 worked fine wired. But Bluetooth had problems. Getting my third controller this tuesday. Will let you know how it goes. Seems that firmware 1.1 is a new one.

Update to 1.03. See if that helps.

Just got my new unit bought direct from razer. Came from HK to UK today and firmware 1.04 and all is well. No drift. Bt seems fine but i really close anyway.

Mine arrived aswell today. Bluetooth is ok-ish, wired is perfect. Firmware was 1.04 installed on it.

Looks like the newer units are model number: RZ06-02600300-R3G1 The older ones I had a problem with and units on Amazon are RZ06-02600100-R3G1 My newer unit came in the same box but had a sticker over the barcode/model no part of the box.

Update. On my third controller. Been testing it non-stop. I'm on firmware 1.04. Looks this one is almost in the clear. 2 weeks to go. Then i will have it over a month. After that i can confirm that this one is perfect. So far so good. Bluetooth works great this time. No more connection problems when an obstacle is blocking the signal.
