Help, issue with USB-C port/ GPU?

Hi there. I have a weird issue when I have my early 2020 razer 15 with 2080 max connected to an external monitor. For some applications the colors are showing completely off. When I play a video with VLC it shows correctly but if I use Windows movies or Vmix the colors are off... I tried updating everything, different cables/monitors and the issue persists... See attached for an example ( left is how it should be, right shows the off colors). The last advice from support was to do a clean install on my computer which I'm always dreading... Did anyone have something similar? I'm wondering if the port got damaged by plugging in a USB-C cable in and out almost daily for the past year... This is my work computer and I just can't ship it to razer support since I need it daily... Appreciate the help if you can!
